EXZ (Emma x Zhang) is a Melbourne-based multidisciplinary artist whose practice spans painting, mixed media, and light installations. Holding a Master of Fine Arts from RMIT, she was the winner of the 2023 Global Design Graduation Show in Digital Art, awarded by Arts Thread—the leading digital platform for emerging designers and artists. Her work has been showcased in both group and collaborative projects, including The Möbius Universe, an eight-meter-high suspended installation at RMIT Swanston Library. As part of a duo, she co-presented Hold Sway at Maroondah Federation Estate Gallery and The Eye Touch at Sorse Gallery, where she explored the interplay between mixed-media paintings and immersive projection installations.
