Spanning a full week of programming, the Asian Heritage Week Exhibition celebrated the work of 49 Asian Australian artists across disciplines. Held at Dark Horse Experiment, the exhibition honoured the creative contributions, cultural identities, and lived experiences of Naarm’s Asian communities through visual art, workshops, and music.
While Asian Heritage Week is not yet formally recognised in Australia, this exhibition carved out space to spotlight intergenerational talent and encourage deeper conversations around belonging, visibility, and representation.
