On March 26th, 2023, Platform Presents celebrated their 4th edition of International Women's Day at Abbotsford Convent. Inspired by Linda Nochlin's 1971 essay, the event highlighted the historical and ongoing challenges faced by women and gender non-conforming (GNC) artists due to centuries of misogyny. Attendees united to dismantle sexism in the art world and honored those who paved the way. The event supported a lineup of female and GNC artists, DJs, and designers, pushing them from the margins to the center where they belong.
