Q3 Rotation at Howler | 19 November – 19 February
Our third seasonal rotation at Howler is a special collaboration between Little Rocket and Platform, celebrating an all First Nations artist line-up. Featuring 21 artists, this rotation brings together diverse practices across painting, illustration, digital art and mixed media. Their works take over the walls of Howler’s Garden Bar, transforming the space into a casual, open-air gallery woven into the rhythm of everyday life.
All works are available for viewing and purchase during venue hours:
Tuesday: 5:00pm – 10:00pm
Wednesday & Thursday: 5:00pm – 11:00pm
Friday: 3:30pm – 12:00am
Saturday: 12:00pm – 1:00am
Sunday: 2:00pm – 10:00pm
Closed on Mondays
The program opens with a night of art, DJs and community on Wednesday 26 November, with a closing celebration in February to wrap the season.
Naarm has always been a place of gathering, connection and creativity for First Nations peoples—long before invasion. Today, it remains a vibrant centre for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander community and cultural expression, and this exhibition celebrates that ongoing legacy.
Big Dreaming explores the deep connections shared by Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples—through Country, Culture and spirituality.
