ArtworkByAalayah (born Kelly Flanagan) is a proud Wiradjuri artist living and creating on Wurundjeri Country in Naarm (Melbourne). Her practice explores truth-telling, resilience, and cultural identity through vibrant acrylic paintings, textiles, photography, and digital design. Aalayah transforms lived experience — including survival, healing, and strength — into visual stories that connect culture and community. Her works have been exhibited across Naarm and are available through local galleries, shops, and her online platforms. Beyond visual art, she is also writing her autobiography, continuing her mission to share stories of survival, spirit, and transformation through creativity.

ArtworkByAalayah (born Kelly Flanagan) is a proud Wiradjuri woman living and creating on Wurundjeri Country in Naarm (Melbourne). Her work speaks through layers of story, emotion, and lived experience — transforming resilience, identity, and healing into visual form.
Working primarily with acrylic on canvas, Aalayah weaves together traditional and contemporary elements to tell stories of survival, connection, and culture. Each piece becomes an act of truth-telling — honouring her journey as a First Nations woman and survivor, and celebrating the strength of community and Country.
Beyond painting, her creative practice extends into digital design, textiles, and writing. Through these mediums, ArtworkByAalayah continues to reclaim voice and visibility, offering her art as a space for reflection, empowerment, and belonging.
