Artist Bio
Robby is Wergaia/Wotjobaluk artist and proud member of The Torch. Influenced from a young age by painting alongside his grandmother, he draws on personal experiences, cultural history, and family to create bold artworks. Living in Chinkapook, a small town in north-western Victoria, Robby maintains a strong connection to his Country and hopes his children can learn life lessons through his art.
Artist Statement
Waḻpa Winaka is a big part of our connection to Country and culture. Burning practices are used for hunting and the regeneration of Country; this maintains a happy and healthy relationship with the land, both flora and fauna.
