Summer Daze | 18 February – 18 May
Summer Daze is a rotating group exhibition that brings visual art into one of Naarm’s most active social spaces. Running across Howler from February to May, the residency invites audiences to encounter art casually while grabbing a drink, meeting friends or heading to a show.
We’re interested in works that carry the feeling of summer in all its forms. Not just summer after dark, but the warmth, ease, colour and slowness that sits across the whole season. This program is about art living alongside everyday moments, not behind white walls.
The program opens with a night of art, zines and Djs on Wednesday 18th February.
Artist Applications
Applications are now open for artists to be part of the Summer Daze residency.
Selected artists will exhibit their work for the full three-month period and be included in the opening and closing events, documentation, and ongoing promotion throughout the season.
